About My Photography
I am interested in telling photo and video stories that help us understand social issues and inspire action. I’m especially interested in projects that advocate for feminism and gender equity. I hope my work initiates curiosity, spurs conversation, and moves us to create positive social change.
I am interested in creating work that help us understand ourselves, social justice issues, and also inspire action. I’m especially interested in projects that highlight intersectionality and advocate for equity. I hope my work initiates curiosity, spurs conversation, and moves us to create positive social change.
My portfolio has moved to more project-based work. My projects are ways for me to explore questions around social and environmental justice, personal growth, or to process an event in my life.
These images were collected from two big adventures in my life. In 2011 I traveled around the world, across 34 countries for 18 months. I even had a naive travel blog back then (before it became a thing). In 2017, I lived abroad in India and Bali for 18 months.
Check my photo blog to view images and projects that don’t fit in my portfolio.
