I care so much about grief - this unspoken shadow we don’t want to acknowledge, even though it exists across our entire life. I care about it as a child of immigrants, as a professional, as a griever. I seek to name it, allow it, feel the discomfort of it - because yes it is uncomfortable - and, it is another form of love. Love for what or when or whom we have lost - it is an honor to witness and hold space for another’s grief.
