As a freelancer I work with clients and teams that are distributed all over the world. As a traveler, I'm moving all around the world. Scheduling meetings with clients and skype dates with friends could be really challenging, it's hard enough to do when we're all in the same time zone!
That is where I rely on Calendly, a scheduling tool that truly makes my life easier (nope, I'm not getting paid for this post... but would love it if I were!). I set my preferences, link it to my google calendar and go about my business. When someone wants to meet up online, I just send my link and they can find the time that works best for them.
At first I did find it a bit impersonal and arrogant to send a link, but after a few times I saw how much the recipient appreciated it - I was making their life easier too!
I use the free version currently which only provides one type of meeting time, which I customized to be 45 minutes. I did like the paid feature of multiple types of meetings, but I'm not at a point where I need that yet.
Do you have tips and tools to manage complicated scheduling?
