Portraits with Tazeen

Tazeen reached out wanting some photographs for herself and her future business. We met in Philadelphia’s Old City and took shots around the neighborhood.

It had been a while since I had picked up my camera because life had been hectic in the past year. I definitely needed my practice working with a model. I forgot how hard it was to do everything at once - giving direction, finding the right light, and correcting little details in the shots. I had to be fully present with Tazeen.
